    The same bud.

    Even if they are Waterproof Marine Binoculars…still “binocs”.

    Some people buy the more expensive ones with “image stabilization” to counteract the movement of the boat.

    Also most boat people prefer 10X50 for a better viewing field again because the boat is usually moving alot.

    They are still called binoculars, but often the name is shortened. My husband and I called them “binos”.
