Monarch Binoculars Made By Nikon

binoculars
The Monarch Binocular made by Nikon was given a five in ratings. Before any of the other models are considered for your purchase you may want to see and to learn about the different features the binoculars offer like the magnification of the lenses, the range of the view, and the ability of the binoculars to be waterproof. There are many other things that will need to be taken into consideration also.

The binocular has numbers on the label that says something like 9×32. The first number means that the lenses will give you a magnification power of nine times what it would be without it. The second number is the size of the lens that is in the front of the binoculars in millimeters. So if your number is thirty-two then, the lens is thirty-two millimeters wide. The size of your lens will tell you just how much of the light that is on the outside is able to get on the inside of the binoculars. The larger the lens, the more light you will be able to get. It is also possible for the binoculars to have a high magnification number in the front and the width of the lens will need to be made larger to accommodate the light needed to give you a good picture. Your binoculars should give you a waterproof guarantee on them so that they will be able to go where you want them and so they can be cleaned easier. You will also want the binoculars you choose to be light enough for you to carry around with you. You should also consider an auto focus so that you will not miss the view you are looking for because you are trying to manually focus the binoculars.

The options that are standard on the Monarch binoculars that are made by Nikon are totally waterproof and also prevent fog from occurring on the lenses. These qualities will give you the best piece of equipment possible. You can also feel comfortable when you need to wear a pair of glasses while using them. These particular binoculars will give you an extended eye relief option that will help you to reduce the amount of strain on the eyes and this is essential for those who intend on using them for a long time.

The Nikon Series on Monarch Binoculars

One of the Nikon Binocular models is the Monarch ATB 7430. It has a number of 8.5×56. These binoculars come standard with a light frame and are very strong and durable to use. They are very easy to tale along with you wherever you go. It has an outside rubber coating that will make it even stronger. The lenses inside are coated with many layers of protection that gives you a bright and clear view of whatever you are looking at. You will receive more light because of the fifty-six millimeter lens in the front.

The Monarch Model ATB gives you a 12×56 power. This will provide what you are viewing to have a detailed appearance because of the larger magnification amount; this particular binocular will have a lower range of view to 288 feet in a thousand yard radius. You will not want to use this particular binocular for concerts or events in sports that you may attend unless you are in the very back of the arena.

The Monarch ATB 10×56 is another one of the binocular models made by Nikon. You will experience a larger view at 315 feet per thousand yards and also a close up view of 33 feet. The binoculars will provide you with a ten times magnification and this is definitely bigger than some of the other binoculars. The medium range for magnification is around the number seven. It also gives you a fifty-six millimeter lens that will give you better light input into the binoculars. For more info see http://www.binoculars-rating.com/Digital_Camera_Binoculars on Digital Camera Binoculars.

There are other models of binoculars that are made by Nikon. The magnification numbers are larger in the other models. The magnification numbers that run in the average range are definitely lower in price.

Is it possible to put a monocular in front of a binoculars’ eyepiece to boost the binoculars’ magnification?

binoculars
Simsim asked:

I have a 7×50 Orion Scenix Astronomy pair of binoculars. I’m not happy with the 7x magnification.
I thought that if I can get a tiny monocular, say 3X20, then I can put it in front of one of the binoculars’ eyepieces. Hopefully getting a 7*3=21x magnification.

Is this possible?
Any recommendation on the monocular(aperture, magnification, brand etc)

Thanks in advance.

How to Pick a Good Pair of Binoculars

binoculars
Binoculars aka field glasses are like two telescopes pointed at the same area. It is easy to perceive depth because it has two lenses and not just one, like a monocular.

The binoculars have been around since about the 17th century after telescopes have been invented. People use to mount two telescopes side by side and looked through them with both eyes.

Between the 1850-1890s, a prism type of binocular was invented that allowed greater depth perception by allowing the eye pieces to be spaced wider apart. These binoculars allow greater magnification.

The most affordable binoculars are porro prisms that allow for brighter images and are precise instruments. These binoculars are wider and sometimes need to be re-aligned.

An expensive kind of prism binocular is the roof prism binocular. This binocular is smaller and narrower but loses some brightness. The good think about them is that they usually never have to be re-alligned. They are also much lighter. Optical coating fixes this problem. That is why many roof prism binoculars are coated.

Optical Coating is a great feature that helps make a brighter image by reducing the amount of light that is reflected. Reflected light inside the binoculars makes the image hazy.

General Binoculars are focused by moving a round wheel that focuses both telescopes at once. More sophisticated binoculars use independent focus which means that each side of the binocular needs to be adjusted individually.

Some binoculars have image stabilization technology which dampen sudden movement. It can usually be turned on or off by the user. This means that very high powered binoculars can be hand held when normally they couldn’t. The image quality is not always as good for stabilized binoculars, and they are usually more expensive.

Coin-operated binoculars are very popular in many tourist attractions. They allow a more detailed view. These are always mounted on a pedestal and are usually high powered.

Military Binoculars are usually hand held and at a magnification of 5x or 7x. Military binoculars are more rugged and sturdy than regular binoculars and they also use independent focusing because it is more sturdy than central focusing. Most military binoculars also have special features that help it work when wet or to block out laser beams. Sea binoculars are meant to be easier on the eyes because of the sea rocking back and forth.

Astronomical Binoculars allow people to view certain elements of the sky from far away. There are many moons and planets that can be viewed with binoculars. Pluto, Eris and Uranus can all be seen easier with the use of binoculars. Some users use lower magnification binoculars so they can have a larger field of view than if they used a higher magnification.

Carl Zeiss And His Binoculars

binoculars
The ones that introduce a new idea into technology should be the ones that others ask for information on those items. This is true in many of the cases.

The Carl Zeiss brands of binoculars were not created because there was a need for them. The company has been in business for over a hundred years. They have much experience in the manufacturing of optical products. It was created in the year of 1852 as a workshop for Moritz Carl Hensoldt the founder of the company. He was in the business of creating equipment used in astronomy, microscopes, and telescopes for viewing planets and other terrestrial objects. In the year of 1893 an application for the double telescope with a longer range of sight was applied for. It was given to them July 9, 1893.

The Carl Zeiss binoculars that have the roof prisms in them came about in the year of 1897. These particular binoculars are well known as the Penta 7×29 model A-. This product was the beginning of the better features in the world of binoculars and scopes for rifles. For more info see http://www.binoculars-rating.com/Compact_Binoculars/ on Compact Binoculars

Carl Zeiss created another wonderful set of binoculars in the year of 1903. The Dialyt was created for the binocular marketplace. It was recognized around the world and gathered much fame and success. This was the beginning of the trademark that would forever be known as the Dialyst. This trademark would take the Carl Zeiss binocular products and scopes for rifles trademark of Diavari around the world. The Diavari trademark came into existence in 1954.

Two years later the binoculars that are made by Carl Zeiss used the cuff gasket for their designed because it was an item that had many features to it. The binocular products that were made with this item were able to focus on something while being safely covered from any debris and wetness. This was a major feat for a double sight binocular because up until then, it was only in a single sight binocular.

The binoculars that Carl Weiss came out with in 1958 were known as the B-model. these binoculars give you a wide range of sight and are great for the users that have eyeglasses. Pocket size binoculars were made in 1974 and given to the public as a grand feature. These binoculars also gave you a main point of focus and were also available for glasses wearers.

Form the year of 1974 until today, the binoculars made by Carl Zeiss keep on giving advances to the technology of the optical equipment we use. They have become the world’s oldest makers of binoculars that are still up and running today. They have gotten this recognition because of their many years of experience and knowledge in the field. This form of lens crafting has been a generational craft that Carl Zeiss created.

Much of the things that Carl Zeiss stands for came from many trial and error times. This is not uncommon for the technology world to try and fail only to find a better product among the dust. Carl Zeiss has worked hard to give the customers the best of the best features possible in the market today.

Bring The Distant Views In Close With High Quality Binoculars

binoculars
As a child one of my favorite pastimes was exploring the world through my binoculars. They went everywhere with me. I could spy on everything from trees, to birds to tiny insects passing by. I took them with me everywhere I went always looking for the next adventure. We lived on a big farm out in the middle of nowhere, so I had plenty to explore. My binoculars are more than a childhood memory, I still have them. I love to take them out and share them with my son in the hopes he will discover the same joy I remember feeling. It is like looking through to another world.

Today there is so much more to look at. The world has been changing and technology with it. I now enjoy using my digital camera to capture some of those favorite moments in time. The best part of my digital camera is that it is also a binocular. It is called a Digital Camera Binocular. You cannot only look off into the distance spotting your favorite wildlife; you can also take a digital picture of it.

The next time you head out on that hunting trip you don’t want to forget the digital camera binoculars. Then you will have the shot of the 20 inch buck grazing 100 yards in the distance, and should you miss it you will have proof of the one that got away.

Keeping an eye on your children as they play down the street will be a snap to do without interrupting them. You can find those stars in the solar system easily with the more powerful digital camera binoculars and the pictures will amaze you. There are a variety of birds and animals in your own backyard. A trip to the mountains would never be the same again. You can spot things that are so hard to see with the ***** eye at a great distance you may have never noticed them before.

There may be many uses for digital camera binoculars and many are recreational. However the next time you go camping or sightseeing in the wild you will be amazed at the beauty all around you. With a digital camera right there photographs may never be the same.

Digital Camera Binoculars vary in price and quality. Before heading to the store look online for the best deals. Then you will be prepared to get the best product for your money. A new experience is waiting around the next corner. You will catch it all with these special binocular/camera hybrid. I enjoy showing my children all the birds and animals just like I found as a child. Have a wonderful adventure with them and don’t forget to share!

Can you use Binoculars for Stargazing?

Here is another good article I found online. Do ya really need a fancy and EXPENSIVE astronomical telescope to start enjoying the stufy of the night sky? Check out this article about binoculars for stargazing.

————————–

Binoculars For Stargazing

For the newcomer to stargazing or indeed planet gazing, a good pair of binoculars are a major step up from scanning the skies with the unaided eye.

You will be able to develop your astronomical ability by looking at stars, viewing planets and locating constellations before going to the relative expense of purchasing a telescope.

There are many benefits to using binoculars for stargazing.

* The cost, good binoculars can be a lot less expensive than a telescope
* They are much easier to handle and use for a less experienced skywatcher. They are smaller, lighter and don’t require any setting up.
* Binoculars provide a much larger field of view than the vast majority of telescopes. This makes finding objects easier. This is one of the biggest challenges faced by the beginner.
* Locating constellations, and observing comets is much easier with binoculars, as you can scan a lot of the sky quickly.
* Binoculars have lots of other uses and so you will get value from your purchase.

As well as your binoculars you will also need an astronomy sky chart to help you find your way around the skies.

A red flashlight is also handy. This allows you to look at your charts or any books you may have with out ruining your night vision. If you can’t purchase a red torch, just cover a normal white light torch with red cellophane.

If you have developed your sky watching skills with your unaided eyes, you will find it a lot easier to pick things out using binoculars. Planet gazing will be within reach with binoculars too.

A visit to your local library will be very beneficial. Try to find a book that will show what a certain planet or object will look through binoculars.

Also remember that when going out on a clear night for a spot of sky watching that the temperature can soon drop. So always wrap up warm.

If you have decided to use a large pair of binoculars, you may find a tripod with a binocular mount a great help.

It isn’t much fun finding a planet or constellation and then having the views ruined by your trembling hands.

A notebook is another good thing to carry. You can the write down and make notes about the things you have seen.

As with all things, the internet is absolutely fantastic for finding information about astronomy, and a quick Google will yield enough results and reading material to feed your hungry brain for a long time.

But even if your interest in astronomy only runs to learning the names of the stars in the sky,
a nice, small and compact pair of binoculars make stargazing and planet viewing more interesting.

Take a look at my binocular discount centre below and happy viewing.

Too Many Binoculars

binoculars
Too Many Binoculars

Can you have too many binoculars? And the answer is unequivocally no.

My wife asked me this, and I stared at her in disbelief. Just where did this question come from? What could she possibly be thinking? After composing myself and gaining some modicum of decorum, I set about logically explaining the need for many different binoculars.

I explained, to be fair, that one does have a favorite pair of binoculars. I carry an Audubon Equinox HP most of the time, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They are good in low light situations as well in the bright of day. They have a good field of view and show quality images in which one can easily distinguish colors. I have been in situations where there is water and have not been afraid because of the waterproofing and fog proofing of this model.

Yet, I must tell you, I also have a pair of Audubon compacts sitting near the den windows. I have a backyard that is a grand place for birds. I know there have been over 50 species of birds that have visited my back yard and the ravine behind it. Everyone in the house and many visitors have had occasion to use these. Sometimes, these binoculars are picked up absent-mindedly, and before the user has realized it, he is looking out and making some startling discovery. Next thing you know, we’ve (pardon the pun) fledged a new birder. Their use has provided many with views of woodpeckers, Great-crested flycatchers, Orchard Orioles, Common Yellowthroats, Sharp-shinned Hawks and more.

I keep a pair of binoculars in my car, too. You never know when you will be away from the house on your way to some destination when all of the sudden, there it is-a sighting of a lifetime. For instance, we were on our way to the Texas Hill Country, traveling Hwy 29 near Llano when we noticed many cars stopped. What was all the commotion? There was a nesting pair of Bald Eagles, and I was so happy to have my binoculars to grab. That nest has been active for several years now. Yet, that first day was one for the books, made all the better because of the binoculars I keep in the car.

Then, there is the pair of binoculars kept for those opportunities when a friend visits. My visitors and I often spend part of our time combing the woods and parks around here. It is always good to have some equipment convenient to enhance the experience. The decision to take a walk along some trail is made easier because we all will have a pair of binoculars to help us enjoy the wildlife we may encounter.

Too many binoculars—not a chance!

I put this under outdoor stuff because I’d like to know if they work well when scoping in animals and taking pictures of them. I’m thinking of getting one of the Bushnell middle make/models.
